Well, at least I finally got an answer from them:

Subject: Shard of Hate Preview

Aaron:

In August, before Scott Hartsmann left EQ2, he and I exchanged some emails in which he agreed to allow me to preview the new Shard of Hate raid zone for my site, eq2flames.com, before it was released.

The computer from which I exchanged those emails has since been replaced, and I no longer have them, but Craig was copied on them at the time and I believe he will remember this.

What I'm asking is for you to honor Scott's commitment, and allow me to have an exclusive, no agro tour of the zone so that I can take screenshots and post them with a review on my site.

I promise that my review will promote the new raid zone in a manner that is highly positive to EQ2. The review will be professional and first class. I'd be happy to also post it on the official forums, in addition to my site, if you'd like.

I believe my site has the highest traffic of all EQ2 fan sites, and also has the most relevant user base of players interested in EQ2 raiding for this review. We currently average over 12,000 unique IPs per day, and had 70,000 unique IP visitors in February, with over 7 million page views in February.

We share the common goal of wanting EQ2 to be as successful as possible, and I'd like to work with you to achieve that goal.

Thank you for your time.

That appears to be you sending that, not an answer. Unless I'm reading something wrong.

He's implicating that Winwin's response is his answer.

I consider Winwin a friend apart from EQ2, but even so, she is exactly the wrong person to do this. She only started raiding a few months ago. Before that, she was using app 4's and thinking they were good enough. Not saying she doesn't adapt well and isn't a skilled healer, but she is WAY too new on the scene to give anything resemblin an unbiased opinion.

Not that she can really type anything negative about SOE, they gave her Fae's and I think she signed a 5 year contract to suck their virtual cock for it. (no offense Win, not like you call me anyway)

I really am at a loss for words concerning Winwin getting the raid zone review exclusive.

Is there any other way to consider this than a slap in the face to raiders? At all?

Much less LFG and eq2flames.

Two rather interesting tidbits of information:

Winwin is not writing a review/preview about Shard of Hate, but a story piece based on the zone.

And

Brenlo, nor Grimwell is in charge of sorting/handing out content to sites. Gnobrin is.
