I am not beseeching you to be nice or anything, but that is why EQ2Players fails (because the community managers acted like you are in this case.) They can't focus on any of the doors they are opening (guide presence, the coming of a new zone) without closing some. They wanted to be free of this site yet still gain the exposure. Instead of making that site worth a damn (updating the content and resolving some of their delivery issues,) they chose to alienate us and reduce any potential traffic we could get by removing the ability to link pages on this site. (This still doesn't make eq2players.com any more viable as a source of information about their own game.)
I could care less who Sony or you decide to support, but mooning people here while kissing them doesn't make either of you appear reasonable or more appealing. Yeah this is EQ2Flames but you pretend to be above that, remember?
Let me put it this way: When you do your TTH stuff for Tabula Rasa, do you promote the game or just go on about how the competing games in its genre suck? Shining the spotlight on how dysfunctional this place is will not make Ten Ton Hammer or Allakazam any better.

I support sites I believe are working in the best interest of the community and this was a good a place as any to compliment Winters preview. Winter DID in fact take a few needless comments and has taken insults historically so I fail to see how I was out of line.
Actually I haven't said once this site was finished. I simply said some bridges were burned. How is that the same thing as proclaiming the doom of Flames?
In all honestly? EQ2 Players is not my business. Who they support or what is up to them. Oh 3devious... I think we both know I'm really not above much or I wouldn't come here and that separates me from a lot of the other people you'll see doing this type of work. Sure I get on a thread, and show my ass at times but it's usually to make a point or have some fun. The only thing that saddens me is I think some people take stuff too personally.
When I work with Warhammer Online (I haven't bothered to correct anyone with what I'm working on atm) or TR I promote the game as I see it and as it relates to other games when necessary. I rarely say a game sucks, but I'll be clear when I don't like it.
Like most of these people said, they don't read TTH anyway so how much influence does what I said really have? I'm just one person with one opinion, who happens to work at TTH. Why is this so upsetting?
