For what it's worth, I actually found out Zoltaroth's name from that E-Mail. I was actually surprised to see it was the same guy. I mean, it makes sense and all since hes in the guild, but - yeah.

NPU was getting inside info as far back as Zek in tier5 with Poac. It was clear to everyone who knew someone in NPU then, just as its clear now.

Poac was getting inside info? Are you fucking stupid Snark? Are you well aware that Poac was suspended as well as blasted all over EQ2players for being a racist for calling Solarus (sp? DE bruiser in DH) a racial slur? Do you really think that developers would want to give him information? NPU was getting inside info as far back as Zek in Tier 5, where the hell could you come up with that shit? Do you have any proof?

I'm sure you know the truth about your guild.. I mean shit.. Astaroth is in vent talking about Roger's latest change to Storms, Mischief, Etc. Whats this I hear about them sitting close to each other in the office? Why try and hide the truth so vehemently? You aren't even in the guild anymore.

Speaking as the EQ2 Community Drama Historian, going all the way back to posts on the old Disso boards and the Official Forums before this site was up, I recall that Poac was indeed reviled by SOE for his racist behavior, in addition to some very colorful NPU website updates and forum posting.

My recollection is that NPU didn't have any involvement with SOE at all until KOS beta, when a NPU recruit emailed a dev (out of the blue) and asked if NPU could get into beta. The dev agreed, NPU had a positive beta experience and dev interactions, and the rest is history.

Except for the minor blip involving the Arrrr drama shortly after KOS went live. According to various posted rumors (of which I have no fucking clue if they are true or not), Arrrr was a dev. In another set of rumors, he wasn't a dev, but he did succeed in getting a dev to update his VP flag quest without killing all the epic mobs needed and thereafter lead an otherwise unflagged NPU into Deathtoll for the first time. Many in NPU claimed WW1st on the mobs in that zone, despite the fact their loot was taken away and Arrrr's VP quest flag was reset. Disso later claimed it legitimately entered VP for the first time and first slayed the dragons therein.

My memory is getting crusty in my old age, so please correct the accuracy of my historical rumors if incorrect.
