Honestly I knew Poac and the rat pack back then and I doubt it, they were idiots.

However, I also talk to Astaroth a lot and when Snark told me he had all this juicy info about Trakanon, I asked him about it and he didn't lie. He tried to play it off as no big deal, but he didn't lie.

So I have to wonder how far back this goes. It has to have a starting point somewhere. If I had to guess, I'd say it was after DMP. That is when NPU "got noticed" by Lyndro who had some pull at SOE and it was also when NPU showed that they had ability.

After that NPU became coddled by the devs and invited to all betas early and became on of their premier beta testing guilds for raid content... they also began world firsting a lot of shit. They also guilded a coder. Etc etc.

It has to start somewhere. So while you may not have had QA notes for Zek when you abused the lack of a lockout timer, it doesn't disprove that you had them for Trakanon, nor does it disprove you've had them prior to Trakanon.

The burden to prove shit is on you and your ex-guild dude, not on Snark.

Your memory is pretty solid. I hope I can clear up the Arrr thing for you. Arrr was a defiler ratonga that we had. His toon was newly created. I also switched to a froglok bruiser at the opening of KoS. We both leveled up and since we had no discoveries experiences, we ran around getting free AA while our statics were getting set up. The thing that happened to him also happened to me. I can't remember quite too well since it was so long ago, but the GM said since we had new characters our discoveries would go from like 100 discovered places and jump to 10,000 causing the server to crash our characters. We could log on any character on the account except in his case Arrr or my bruiser on my account. We had to petition to get them rolled back to the previous spot.

The GM rolled us both back so we lost AA, whatever. However, Arrr had lost his Lord Vyemm and Harla Dar updates. He petitioned to get them updated, and the CSR (we all know how CSRs are) finished his quest instead of updating the two kills. Which then gave him access to Deathtoll. He was not a developer, it was all rumors and we enjoyed the entertainment that he was. We knew the items would be taken away, it was wrong to do it, but at the time.. who wouldnt? We found that after clearing the zone, deathtoll had no lockout though! Hope that clears it up for you LFG, but you hit the nail on the spot. SoE was impressed by our DMP kill and Nade (fury) PM'd a developer on eq2flames to get into Beta. I remember Lyndro making the post when someone called him out on it too.

And then send the dev to us, we don't have a pocket dev and would like one so that we can beat things fair and square, too.

Incidentally, I think defending cheating is probably not the right thing to do.
