I don't feel there is any need for this site to cover up any information given that is believed to be fact. Soe delete and Ban's anyone who posts anything thats not Pro-SOE, even if its fact. LFG should feel no pressure to become a Nazi like SOE forum MoDs. I believe the intent of your original post was to promote un-realistic censorship on these forums, and to that FUCK OFF

You're stupid, you're deriving things about a situation you admittedly don't know about. This is what happened:
LFG becomes a part of sony's little fansite network
LFG fights for the game on a site he created devoted to free exchange of ANY ideas and almost total freedom of language
I post something about Aeralik that has nothing to do with LFG
LFG removes it and makes it a rule not to out devs
Aeralik still angry, gets butthurt that LFG wanted to discuss the outing of devs and not sweeping it out of site like sony likes to do.
LFG gets removed from the fansite network
LFG then says that people can do what they want, sony tried to slap him for having an open debate on something, something this site was founded on.
Snark (unrelated to LFG) and many other players upset with sony for certain things involving their staff decide to band together and out all the development staff to give incite to the playerbase that community managers have only reached level 43 in game, how Aeralik traded sex for in game favors, how Astaroth has fed his raiding guild QA strats for who knows how long.

I hope you understand this, because if not, head back to elm school. If we posted dev info on fucking photobucket and linked it around, would photobucket be at fault? LFG created this site to be an open forum without heavy moderation, and he's being consistant with what the site intended to be. Don't like it? fucking leave then.

Over the past year this site was going somewhere, simply because it wasn't just about flames anymore. I wasn't saying these postings should be deleted, I wasn't saying they should be censored. What I was saying is, if the people in charge and the people who opened these threads had the intention to settle this, and not make this into "fuckyousoe.com" again, they would rethink their actions/decisions. It was an appeal to come to senses and ask yourself "what are we even trying to accomplish, and are the measures taking us in the right direction - nothing more, nothing less.

I'm a hothead myself but instead of making this posting, telling you to go fuck yourself for imputing that I'm in favour of censorship would accomplish nothing.

And in this all, the underlying question is: LFG, what are plans for this site now? Is it "back to the roots", or might you be hurting your goals by openly encouraging people to go "FFA"?

You've seen the reaction from NPU thus far, even with all this out in the open, their stance so far is "who cares". If you don't draw a crowd, the corruption continues and gets worse. SOE doesn't listen to individuals, and they especially don't listen to posters on the official forums.

My personal view: NPU could give a fuck about fairness (albeit it's not their job to be fair). SOE could give a fuck about fairness. Therefore, "good devs" notwithstanding, they deserve the spotlight they're getting right now.

The lesson? Enforce fairness. It's not that hard. Then no SOE employees get burned, and no uberguilds look like punkasses who can't raid their own gear without Mommy holding their hands.
