Ok, in simplier terms you dont feed the dog that could just as easilly turn around and bite you. It's why I'm not suprized they took LFG out of their personal loop. Fair or not, its politics. Point is, LFG wasnt wronged by SoE just because they refuse to deal with him "officially" anymore. That was a privledge they can give and take whenever they wish. And for a flamers forum administrator to even get the privledge in the first place was a feat in itself.

For that, he should be proud. It was nice while it lasted, but now its over and eq2flames will revert to its "purist" form.

Shareholders of Sony care very little about Eq2. The revenue that Eq2 generates gets lost in rounding when you consider that Sony makes over 70 Billion in revenue for its entire business. The stock price of Sony isn't moving because of ROK's shittyness or spurning of Eq2flames.

IMHO part of the reason that SOE is so shitty with their community is because they are part of a bloated Japanese conglomerate that does not need to pay attention to 10% swings in subscription numbers. Sony and its shareholders just do not care and never will care because EQ2 is just a very small piece of the entire company.

I know this is a tangent and might be irrelevant but life would be be better for the EQ2 community if the EQ franchise were in the hands of a smaller company that actually cared about a 10% decrease in subs.
