Errrrm, I think you need to realize that I was not implying that any of that "past" interview had anything to do with the current drama surrounding NPU and there "pocket dev"

I however was trying to connect the legendary NPU's name and all the fame they have recieved through out the years to this drama in my own silly way. Just because they were only busted once doesn't mean they haven't had some sort of insider info for a very long time. I betcha a lot of crack heads have smoked a lot of rocks before they got busted there first time....

P.S. I would like to correct you since you are so insistant on being the official "Barney Fife" of this thread. I am no moron, I may act like a moron but my official tag is "world wide bestest numbfuck". It's actually supposed to be my eq2flames title but LFG never did get around to putting it up there.

Does it really matter that much that they get help? We all knew this before, nothing has changed. I have talked to Asteroth before hes a good guy and I wouldn't wish this upon him, though he has brought it upon himself.

But more importantly rather than trying to get people fired, some of our better devs at that. Why don't you try to get things fixed like communication, patch notes, answers on some of the many questions we have been asking for who knows how long. The list goes on there are far more important things than firing a coder who does his job, raids and is a little out of line.

As far as I see it them cutting ties with Elleffgee means we are back to little or no developer communication. That is the biggest blow other than the obvious bye to this community. I do understand why most devs wouldn't want to talk though, every time they do some dolt responds with "FUCK YOU SOE YOU FUCKING IDIOT" but a few idiots honestly shouldn't have ruined what we had. Hopefully Brenlo or some one will respond to Elleffgee's post on the official boards, because saying they are still reading surely isn't enough. This really is more than what the random anon spammers are complaining about.

That is pretty much the crux of the issue. I don't really think anyone should get fired over sending e-mails with strats either (although sexual favors for in game stuff - is a little different) - but losing communications with the Devs (who remembers when Flames was actually acknowledged by devs the first few times) is a big blow.

Nothing else has changed, you still can't post anything that violates our Site Rules.

The thing is Eq2 flames will not die because of this it will remain about the same. It just means we wont have a few of our questions answered anymore and that really is sad.

If they wanted polite communication ect they should set up a board with 1-2 members of each class and or the most knowledgeable people, so they wouldn't be bashed by the more immature. Just a thought though, maybe that might have even furthered our developer interaction and got even more questions answered.

I'd also like to reiterate that I have no misunderstanding about the fact that any relationship I had with Brenlo and Grimwell has been forever ruined by these events.

So I never expect to have any public or private interface with SOE ever again.

But that being said, they are insane and stupid if they don't seek the counsel of at least one other outspoken person on this site with integrity who is a long term player and extremely knowledgeable about EQ2's end game and the desires of this player segment.

Only inviting players from the NGD community to Summit events will do nothing to improve this game for the players represented by this site, in my strong opinion.
