I agree to a degree with this, if I were in any other raiding guild on Guk trying to kill this stuff, I'd be extremely irrate at this point.

I however was trying to connect the legendary NPU's name and all the fame they have recieved through out the years to this drama in my own silly way. Referencing earlier NPU is pointless. Truth be told, they were a kick ass guild in t5 and t6 and did not act like the asshats they are today. In 2005 they were the best on Guk, but there was also Dark Horizon, Aei Desis, Arirang (remember them?), shit tons of good raiders and there was real competition. I always liked Poac despite his many flaws.

Attacks are made based on a dev being in there guild...that is the only time that matters here.

Astaroth started working for SOE in January 2006, as seen here. So, they could not have had Astaroth as a Coder on their roster before January 2006. Which wouldn't this put it at the time of KoS, which according to everybody's favorite player(Ishbu) was where he got his crazy idea that people when they beta tested where handed everything on a silver platter. Wait a second, what's this, Ishbu was apping and in KoS beta with NPU at that time and he got his crazy idea from where? Ooooh, this makes perfect sense now, and why Second Dawn vehemently denies they get strats on a silver platter, and why Ishbu(who is always right in his mind) would disagree with them on and on. It all makes perfect sense now. Wonderful. :0

And yeah talking about NPU before T5 & T6 is just stupid since Astaroth didn't join until T7. And like I said before, he really didn't help much until the Mutagenic Outkast where we know about the ninja change before hand, giving us incentives to try to kill him the night before that for the WWfirst.

Don't get me wrong, I think they are guilty as fuck, and maybe for a long time. But if people start adding untrue accusations in with the real ones, it could give creedence to defense. I don't want the truth diluted.

They probably could have avoided this entire mess if the end game was actually fun. You have knowledgeable people continually pointing out how encounters are broken, how mechanics are fucked, itemization is non existant, and raiding avatars that aren't broken is just flat out not fun anymore.

Basically after months without any acknowledgements about the lack of fun from clicking a fucking statue while your raid fights a mob and how playing your character 30% of the time on Avatars because of stuns/stifles/disarms/charms/forced targeting is not fun, you drive a community to this.

It's obvious that a lot of people have more fun posting on forums than they do raiding end game content and quite honestly, who can blame them? People pay $15 a month for this game to entertain them. If they're not getting their entertainment from playing the game and fighting the encounters, they're going to get entertainment from something else the game can provide, which is drama.
