I don't disagree with that, however, I don't view part of an encounter running back home while another part stands and fights as a player created problem. If the devs weren't fucking morons, they'd leash the entire encounter to the primary mob instead of homing them in on their crib.

Players should never be penalized for using their brains. Devs who can't use their brains should not receive paychecks.

I actually tried to register on that site, and intended to vote that I thought EQ2 was better than those other completely different games that I'd never play, but I still can't figure out how to vote after I registered.

It's an offshoot of that Rockstar, and they already beat SOE. Voting ended and Rockstar S.D. now faces Lucas Arts.

This whole argument rests on the assumption that the strategy in question is actually considered an exploit by SOE. Prove it's an exploit, and you might have a case, but otherwise, the only one doing anything wrong here is LFG.

I just meant that there's more than likely quite a few that voted for Rockstar S.D. because they thought it was the studio that made GTA.

I guess you can't read. He said he'd turn his head to it. Implication being that he knew it was an exploit, and allowed it to happen. And LFG owns the site. He wants to read everyone's PMs, its his perrogative. Aerilik used LFG's webpace and servers to condone an exploit.

and i guess the dev saying "i can look the other way..." doesn't say anything to you about that?

Why would he say he's willing to look the other way if it was legit?

Edit: Also for someone who's quick to defend SOE and that they're entitled to run their site as they wish, you're quite fast to chastise LFG for it.
