No it doesn't. Regardless, what matters is if SOE as an organization considers it an exploit, not an individual dev. Has anyone been punished for using this strategy, or even been approached by an SOE representative as a result?

And somewhere else, there is a mob of people up in arms about LFG, to whom I am beating home the fact that Aerelik's breech was just as bad.

I somehow don't think Aerelik's deeds will get swept under the rug around here; on the other hand, as you say, the majority (perhaps not quite 99%) of people around here will look the other way about LFG's misdeed.

If you violated the trust implied by a private message, then yes. While it's certainly a minor offense in the big scheme of things, it does undermine your position, doubly so if it turns out there is no wrong-doing.

Further, one must question your motives here - why not communicate this information privately with SOE instead of making it public? Is the intent here to really see the problem resolved or is it to fire up your followers and try to embarrass SOE
