If SoE hopes to maintain any degree of credibility, Aerilik's employment should be immediately terminated by SoE, his in-game guild disbanded and the guild leaders suspended, if not banned, over this.

When people here get mad because someone is acting in an unethical manner, and want to lynch the corrupt bastage doing anything for the almighty dollar. You don't have to travel to SoE forums to lynch anyone...LFG is right here!!

Which guilds and when, and did they use this specific tactic in this specific fight? I don't care about other fights in VP, or other tactics they may have used.

If LFG would have exposed that Aeralik switched the sugar with the salt at the office, I would be right there with you; however, what Aeralik did was worst than how LFG got his information.

The difference is inherent. I have no vested interest in EQ2flames. I have tons of it in EQ2.

LFG can skin babies for all I care. And my 2c is he is a fucking hero, because he is willing to blow his rep and damn the consequences to expose this crap for what it is. Should he sit on this info? Would that be better? Should he be looking for ways to make peace while the guilty parties bide quietly, waiting for this to all go away?

And ps, Areilik is an idiot for using this site for info like that. Does his lame ass guild not have a message board themselves? At least Nandy knows to use email.

I have to revise my opinion on this. It's got to be a pretty tough thing to hold onto info like that when the douche bag in question was partly responsible for revoking your fan site status. If after all that has happened I uncovered that little PM on my site that had been fucked over by Aeralik then I'd probably post it as well, site rules be damned.

It still doesn't sit well but I figure LFG has enough info to know it's not going to effect his current relationship with SOE.

Someone also mentioned something else I hadn't considered, Aeralik used the PM system here because he knew he would get busted if he used the official forums.
