Re: Back at you, SOE
Is there any way to change the title of the thread on the official forums so people actually read it?
Something like Corruption see page 70(forget which page the first pic is on)

SOE changes aspects of the game all the time. Were monks using Peel prior to the nerf exploiting? Was using multiple monks to peel-lock Pawbuster an exploit? Was burning down Pawbuster rather than using the grate to kill him an exploit?
None of those are possible now, but all were possible at one time.
I don't think there's even a clear definition of what an exploit is, let alone what specific things should be considered exploits. How can we claim Aeralik was doing anything wrong when the terms we use are so ambiguous to begin with?

I don't believe he has responded to the have you ever raided in EQ2 question either i may be wrong though.

Re: Back at you, SOE
Shortly after Aeralik blackballed the site I went on a mission to discover if corruption was limited to Zoltaroth. I logged into Aeralik's account and took screen shots. There were more, including a follow up that said, "We better move quick, Roger is patching it soon."
I struggled with the question. Should I reveal that bug reports are being used for personal gain at the cost of my integrity? I never really decided but I did share the PM with LFG and he took the decision out of my hands. For better or worse, I do believe it was important to expose and I hope that any collateral damage to SoN is minimal. I'm sorry Pants.
To anyone concerned about privacy. I don't make a habit of going around jumping onto people's accounts unless there is a technical issue that's easier to troubleshoot from their point of view. If you're still concerned with privacy I suggest deleting PMs that contain sensitive information instead of storing them on the server.

Seriously man, if a pig walked up behind you and bit you in the ass, would you need a notarized report from a zoologist stating it was really a pig, and a medical report stating that you had really been bitten, before you believed it yourself?
I think you would.

You're playing dumb to defend SOE. It's start to get pathetic.

No. They have no reason to change it. It's in their best interest not to change it.

You're an idiot.
The fucking mechanics designer knows more about the game than a stupid fucking CSR or Community PR person. If they say "look the other way" it is an exploit.
SOE will not publicly admit that their employee has cheated. That would be fucking stupid.
What you're demanding from us is like asking a TA if the Dean of Engineering was cheating by telling students that he'd look the other way if they used the answer key during an exam.

I take full personal blame for all this. Niber is not a scumbag, if anyone is, I am for making this public.
