Truth has a funny way of punching you in the face eventually. Maybe you should have been thinking about doing something proactive to put out this fire when it started on 3/10/08. Sony has no problems monitoring in game conversations, private tells, or guild chats. Gm's will spy on your private conversations, and even use them to suspend/ban you if they are watching you for some reason. Why? Because they own the game and they cam. LFG owns this website and forum. He used his power in such a way that Sony has done thousands of times in the past.
I think its more important to expose the depth of corruption in the SOE team, the favoritism, the complete and utter lack of giving a shit about keeping the integrity of the game in tact. Some of you say this is just a game. So is Baseball, football, hockey, etc. And there have been hearings in CONGRESS about cheating in those games. How is this any different, except this is even more blatant. The screen shot I saw would be as if there was a picture of a major league baseball upper employee holding a giant needle with the words STEROIDS printed in bold letters on the side, shooting it into Barry Bonds or Mark McGuire's arm, while flipping off the camera and holding up a sign saying, "Eat a Dick Baseball Fans."
I enjoy this game. I have invested time and money in it. Why should any of us continue playing, if the people in charge of keeping it fair and honest help people lie cheat and steal.

In all honesty, I hope this swan song talk simply means that the idea of ever being officially affiliated with SOE/eq2 is off the table as opposed to the idea of somehow crashing eq2flames into the ground.
Flames has and can exist without those douchebags and its a fucking fun site.
As for the PM, if Aeriickadick keeps his job after this I will...well I will probably just /sigh since that seems par for the course there.

Blizzard would have asked him if the forum PM was real, if he said yes, they woulda fired him on the spot.
If what happened here happened in WoW, it would have all been over before it started.
