I'm glad you have been playing from day one and don't seem to have any other issues with this game then that short little list.

Of course, since then Rule #6 has been changed. It is interesting to note that the current Rule #6 does still specify communications "sent to them [the administrators]". I'm sure there are enough semantics that can be spun to try to gloss that over, but we see that administrative privileges have been abused and rules ignored in order to further a cause.

Does this excuse Aeralik's actions? No. What it does do is call into question the ethics and standards used by the administrators on this site - people that will use information gained through their administration of a site, in any arbitrary manner they find excusable (or even self-admittedly despicable).

Very interesting standards and very interesting tweaking of the rules.

I know, I know.... SoE did it first....

I pay SOE money each month to be fair, I don't pay LFG shit. As such I hold different standards for SOE. Period.

Yeah, $15 bucks a month for almost four years. SOE is a "professional" development studio so yes, I expect more from them and their employees than I do a player who runs a site out of his own pocket.

Well, good for you. The fifteen bucks a month is a drop in the bucket, really, but if it means that much to you (even multiplied by 48) then all the power to you and your monetarily driven standards.

Suffice it to say, if I had to pay, even a coupla bucks to post at Flames I wouldn't be here.

You're missing the point. All the integrity in the world of the people on this site doesn't mean shit. But the integrity of a developer who creates the game is a very important issue. Why people can even think to put LFG on the same scale as Aeralik is just mind boggling.
