Of course, since then Rule #6 has been changed. It is interesting to note that the current Rule #6 does still specify communications
"sent to them [the administrators]". I'm sure there are enough semantics that can be spun to try to gloss that over, but we see that administrative privileges have been abused and rules ignored in order to further a cause.
Does this excuse Aeralik's actions? No. What it does do is call into question the ethics and standards used by the administrators on this site - people that will use information gained through their administration of a site, in any arbitrary manner they find excusable (or even self-admittedly despicable).
Very interesting standards and very interesting tweaking of the rules.
