I would only blame SOE if they do nothing about it. Are we suprised people abuse their power, buff their own class, and help out their friends ...? It's not like we needed to see a PM like this to know, it's blatantly obvious, and completely unfair to everyone who pays for the game and plays it as intended - FAIRLY. I, personally, would expect "someone" to lose their job and a public apology to be had, but I don't expect that any more than I do an admission of the obvious. I know I don't appreciate my money paying the bills for such.

Whether or not LFG fucking rocks, whether or not he did it for a good reason, expectation of privacy is pretty silly.

It's the same reason you can't say things like "Fuck you, gNOBrin!" on the official boards: SOE owns them, and what they say goes. LFG owns EQ2Flames, so what he says fucking goes. Deal with it.

We are not LFG's paying customers, he owes us nothing. The only rule on this forum should be "Post at your own risk." We ARE, however, SOE's paying customers, so they are held to a much higher standard of professional accountability.

Its easy enough to argue these points after the fact, especially given who they help condemn and who they help promote.

Look dude, if you don't mind paying for play-testing broken content on live servers while a rogue developer and his buddies cheat the system to get world-wide first kill credit -and Mythical epic updates, and whatever else- on it, that's fine.

The rest of us do mind, so you'll have to just have to excuse our outrage.

Yes, what LFG did could be construed as 'the wrong thing to do'(tm). And yes, he can be vilified for it from certain black and white standpoints.

But those of us who live in reality know exactly what LFG did, why he did it, and why he would never do it to anyone who didn't sorely deserve it, for obvious reasons. Very similar to how a judge in court will always trust the word of a cop over the word of the guy who was speeding.

Wasting time on the internet arguing about philosophy and ethics is for douchebags. Reality says Aeralik is a supreme faggot and LFG did what was necessary to expose this to the community.

I gotta admit, reading some of that Caswydian dudes posts was HILARIOUS. Check them out if you get time. Comedy gold.
