Im not saying what aeralik did was right but wow man...Private PM's on this board are now public info WTF...
Many of the EQ2 dev team use to come to these forums to see what "Raiders" had to say on issues and often used info here to resolve ingame things.... I guess we can all kiss that goodbye... Grats on killing your site from a Developer point of view I mean every bitch thread and fix this or that thread is now 100% worthless from now on cause I doubt SoE will touch this site with a 10ft pole.
They x-communicated this site way before this news broke. I suggest reading the article by Massively.
EDIT: Wow, I got owned. Having to lookup URLs 4tl.
Every time i see a post by him I picture some douche sitting in a coffee shop in front of a MacBook reading Kurt Vonnegut and adjusting his derby hat. Anyone who lives near some pretentious college hangout might find someone who fits his description. He will be easy to point out with his Grimwell themed background.
I picture Cas as that douche in Good Will Hunting in the college bar, who gets owned by Matt Damon. How bout them apples!
BTW.....I'm fucking Matt Damon

I would like to say my thoughts on this matter. No, I'm not somebody who is well known here, or on the OF either. And, no, I don't paticularly care what your opinions on my opinon are.
1. I find what LFG and Niber did to be distasteful. I believe that a private message should be just that. It shouldn't be opened by someone who is not the intended receiver. It should not be posted. It should be private.
2. I find what some members of the development team have done to be beyond disgraceful. There is a certain expectation of professionalism from people who create and run a game for pay. Disclosing strats, looking the other way, playing the "you scratch my back, ..." game is not something that is I find acceptable from a professional person. Such folk should have a very limited carrer life.
Perhaps I come from a different cultural view, where there are shades of grey, but those shades usually are tinted more in one direction than the other. I find that I cannot whole-heartedly support either side in this conflict. If I were forced to choose, I would choose LFG and Niber as the lesser of two evils. But make no mistake, there is still evil there.

I think this pretty well sums up how I feel as well. I definitely couldn't have worded it any better or clearer. Very disgraceful on all fronts
