The problem with your statement is that SOE DOD nothing public. SOE did nothing public, it was LFG that made all of this public. All TIA crap about they arwtring to take down this site is crap. None of this would have happened if LFG kept his yap shut about being kicked from the program tried to go through proper channels and make amends with SOE. Rather then that him and some people on this site decided it would be best to try and blacmail their way back in. As if that is going to work. At this point all of it looks shady, in a couple of days once this topic stalls out I wonder what the new über drama will be. I bet that ad revenue from all the extra traffic is looking pretty sweet at this point.

Of course SOE didn't disclose that they moved an entire guild off of the Test server covertly.

Or course SOE didn't disclose that their Devs were using /bug reports of exploits to further their guild epic quests.

I love this game. I thank SOE for giving it to us and attempting to improve it. But this corruption needs to be stopped...

Thankfully LFG knows the people behind those AD's dun give a rats ass about SoE, or the use of Cocksucker, or of the market viability of gnomish tinkerers in Neriak. They care about eyes on the page.

There's no sport in attacking SOE. SOE is such an easy target, that defending them is far more enjoyable, since it represents a real test. In the same way people go after raid encounters instead of whacking grey mobs, I defend SOE instead of attack them.

I also see SOE as the victim of many unjustified attacks, and so my defense in those cases is legitimate. I will not back down simply because popular opinion is against SOE, or because I am insulted and threatened.

I do think SOE has made many mistakes, and frankly, this whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Aeralik, regardless of the technicalities involved, acted poorly. Still, I'll defend SOE because I think a robust defense helps bring out the facts of the matter, and I despise lynch-mob 'justice'. If Aeralik and SOE have acted improperly, I would hope that just punishment is meted out to those deserving, but on the basis of the offenses committed, not the demands of the mob.

Did you even bother to read the post I was refering to or did you just decide to pop off with out having a clue? In case you missed it I was talking about the person who said SOE started this publicly. I just pointed out to him that all this was made public by LFG.

A far as corruption goes givens a fucking break. The exploits used by all the guilds over the years is mind blowing, look on this site and you will see all these guilds have got caught with there pants down at one time or another, I really don't give a fuck what guild exploited what mob with what dev looking the other way.

Face the fact that all this is being done to get flames back into the program thing, something most of us bitched about in the first place.

I could have respected something like this if there was some knind of a tip or lead that lead to it but that was not the case, it was snooping in the hopes of finding something which is a bitch move IMHO, what's next make shit up to further this agenda?
