I do not think there is a clear and undisputed definition - it's one of those terms that people throw around to describe just about any behavior they dislike. Personally, I do not find there to be much use in arguing if something is an exploit or not, so I've not come up with my own definition. However, i tend to fall on the permissive side of the argument, namely if something is allowed by the game, then it is not an exploit. Of course, there may be exceptions and extreme cases, so this is not an absolute standard, just a bias I have when analyzing such claims.

However, a global definition of exploit is not particularly relevant to this discussion, what is important is SOE's definition, and if that definition covers the specific strategy in question.

I agree with that last part. Totally. You are a dick, and I while not responding to nearly as many posts as i'd like, would like to tell you in case i dont respond to another one here (or on any other thread you post), you suck. Your arguments are weak, and not based on anything.

By your logic, I can shoot fireballs out of my eyes, simply because I say it. You haven't seen it to know if i can or not, but trust me i can.

All you want is SOE saying it is an Exploit, but you know that will NEVER happen. I don't believe i've ever seen SOE admit that exploits exist. The phrase 'actions speak louder than words' comes to mind when they do an emergency hotfix on a zone, bringing all servers down during peak play time, unannounced.

It's not a 'feature' or 'strategy' they don't want you to use, its a 'strategy' that is an exploit that they did not realize was do-able until someone /bug'd it and then Aerlik or whatever told his Guild Leader that he would 'look the other way' (implying that if he was looking that way there would be problems, again another instance of actions speaking louder than words).

I know nothing i've said in this post in regards to this is probably news to you, but fuck it annoys me when people just refuse to listen to logic, reason and facts, all the while saying whatever they feel just to rile people up. It's obvious your just looking for reactions like this (and me being bored at work gave in, i suck), so i would like for you to just either stop posting or die.

I could have read so many more important things on my lunch today ... like a site about Tabula Rasa, because i think my time in this game might be coming to a close unless things become more fun again.

Solid proof? You've already admitted you wouldn't be convinced that a pig bit you in the ass if that actually happened.

You don't know what proof is, Sir. You don't need 3 priests and a nun swearing on a stack of bibles to prove something.

The evidence in this case is clear and convincing, and is undeniable based on Aeralik's lack of denial.
