It is interesting you are making a big deal out of something I didn't say. I mean, my post is still there...it says someone wishes someone else was dead. I even said it twice I think...wishes. I didn't claim that was against the rules. I even said I saw no reason for you to do anything about it.

However, I find it interesting you make such a huge deal about this ability of yours to uphold your website rules. Now, since I have been described by you as an "illiterate uneducated and unwashed retarded person", so my question will be basic...

Where exactly do you think you belong on some high ground of enforcing website rules, when, in this thread, first post, ny you, you have broken a rule?

See, I read what he did in a slightly different light. I think the post wasn't made for person gain, and especially not for LFG to get his fansite status back (he knows that won't happen). It's a call for SOE to take it on themselves to mend ties with the Flames community, for them to take a step towards showing that, no matter what's between them and LFG, they still value the better part of our input. (Or, perhaps, conversely, for them to fess up that they hate our collective guts and that we can fuck off and die.)

At this point, it's on SOE to regain our trust and respect. They're mostly ignoring us, hoping this will blow over and they won't have to address the corruption on their end, so LFG is promising to drop more shoes until they're forced to take action. Now, I'm not naive enough to think that LFG was entirely selfless in starting down this course since this site does thrive on drama, but I do think that his own gain was the least part of what motivated him (especially since he says he knows how bad this makes him look, personally). I could be totally wrong, but that is how I'm reading it.

If this is the case, right or wrong, agree with the violation of privacy or not, the purpose wasn't personal gain. And he did it after he got his fansite status revoked because one of the consequences was SOE cutting ties with the vocal, hardcore raiding community (which he claims was likely SOE's goal). So his extortion-like demands are being made as a goad to SOE to shape up and improve their relations with the rest of us.

I think a lot of the community here is seeing it from that perspective. With that in mind, does the gratitude and support make sense?

Is a pretty accurate summary of my intent and take on the situation.

I don't really care who they get end game feedback from, as long as it is an outspoken, hardcore raiding member of this community. If they are going to pick people such as Winwin (no offense to Winwin, I'm just saying) as the media interface to EQ2 raiders (she does raid afterall, I'm not sure if they know the difference between casual raiding and hardcore raiding), then I'm not confident in the future of this game.

I haven't posted here really, but I've been following these threads (even though I hardly play the game), just want to say Corruption on any level is retarded & cheap. It should be sorted out asap on SOE's half, I think sacking him would be over-the-top, but something should be made clear, but hey this is SOE.. nothing will happen.

The orginal post that Arydick used was not a /bug or /petition, but a private PM through this site....how I know? Cause I was the original creator of that PM to Arelick in an attempt to draw attention to a shitty exploit.

I did not use a /petition mainly cause most of us know how effective /petitions can be, especially when dealing with retarded exploits or bugs. Official forums? Well those are practially useless when trying to fix issues and so avoided it. Instead I chose the most direct path that has proven to be effective in past posts, which was to just communicate with the devs through this site.

My intention was to try and bypass the useless process of customer service and just address the issue directly to a dev via the confidence of a PM. What I didn't expect....was this fucking piece of work to abuse his position and misuse information. It would have been kinda nice if LFG would have sent a warning to me or at least a heads up since it was originally my PM that started all this bullshit, so that I could have jumped in sooner in the thread before it blew up.

I'm not upset that LFG revealed this corruption, I for one am glad to know that my potentialy good intentions was used to better the greater evil that is SOE and the douche bags that are on their dicks instead of actually catering to their playerbase.

What little faith I did have in the integrity of SOE employees has forever been disolved. Who knows the level of corruption that lies within SOE employees, and how it has impacted the entire EQ2 playerbase and their "gaming experience".
