What I see many people saying is that it was wrong for me to do this, but they'd like to see more.

The real reminds me of something Evel Knievel once said - that the real reason people bought tickets to his motorcycle jumps was because they hoped to be there live when he crashed and died.

Its ironic you use the term "big brother". Which was used in the discussion regarding Bush's illegal phone wire taps. I didnt miss your point, I just disagree with it. They have more reason now than before to explain to their playerbase why we should trust them and continue to play the game. They need to explain why some guilds are above the law. Why devs can violate company policy and not be held accountable.

I'd also say it is perfectly acceptable to use your enemies tactics against them if your current strategy isn't yielding positive results.

And I don't think Bush's wiretaps were illegal or uncalled for. If I am to board a plane, I'd rather they screen everyone than no one and just hope that nothing bad will happen.

I'm just saying that when you have suspisions of corruption that could force change, you persue them even if it is a low blow to do so. What SOE has done is far lower.

LFG, MUCH props for keeping it 100%, and for putting this out there to people. I agree with a lot of people about the 'scary' fact that it was someone else's PM but first we dont know if that person didnt want it posted, and second (even if they didnt) Its still LFG's intellectual property (this site).

For those who don't understand what he means by 'kills the site' and how it hurts him personally, is the fact that a big part of this sites financial viability has to do with the advertisements that are on it, and thats driven by 'viewer ship.' If people stop seeing SOE People post here they will be less likely to post, and as the game gets older anyway more people will leave the game, and less posts means less traffic, less traffic means less revenue from the advertisements, which means less of a reason for LFG to keep the site up and functioning in the way that it does.

So for him to basically be fighting back, at this point he knows its irreparable damage, but fuck that shit, you cop a swing at me and i'm gunna lay you out. It's not about 'an eye for an eye' it's about not letting people bully you, and not backing down when your right. No, the ends doesn't always justify the means, but sometimes the means aren't so bad, and the 'ends' need accomplishing.
