Fuck his motives. With the current bullshit that SOE has been pulling (test server moves, Trak strats, using a player's bug info for the benefit of the Dev's guild) I couldn't give 2 shits how the information was obtained.

Is LFG a sneaky asshole for going through someones PM's? Yes. Does it matter in regards to a DEV being corrupt? No. Its a separate issue. The "evidence" IS the issue of this thread. Start a "LFG is a piece of shit" thread to deal with his spying through IMs if you feel so strongly about it..

So, in a nutshell, I understand the idea that you hope LFG is striving for the greater good, I just don't see how you can justify it from what you can read here...in this very thread.

My day job has kept me from keeping up with the many pages added to this thread today, so I figured I'd at least respond to Manratten's comments above.

In the thousands of words I've written in this and related threads on this dispute, you've elected to quote three sentences of mine to support your theory that the revenge motivation I mentioned in those sentences were my sole reasons for doing what I've done.

What you've failed to do is quote the many other reasons and other information I've provided. All these things must be read in context to accurately represent what I've repeatedly stated, over and over. And that is, yes, I'm guilty of acting based on the motivation of revenge and striking back at people who have acted as double crossers, hypocrites, and who've betrayed me and this community.

But revenge was only PART OF MY MOTIVATION, NOT ALL OF IT, and I'd say only 10 to 20 percent of my motivation. That was FAR from the majority reason why I acted as I did.

I was wronged first. Had I bent over and taken it in the ass as they expected me to do, I would have done so for the purpose of protecting my investment in the resale value of this web site by kowtowing to SOE. Had I done nothing, in my world and in my mind I would be a huge ass pussy and would have lost my manhood and completely betrayed the trust and confidence of this community and would no longer be able to participate in this site because I'd never be able to hide my shame.

What you keep forgetting to quote, Manratten, is the number of times I've stated that I UNDERSTAND THAT MY PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH SOE IS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY BEYOND REPAIR AT THIS POINT, AND THAT I DO NOT EXPECT OR WANT MY RELATIONSHIP WITH SOE TO RETURN TO WHAT IT WAS AT THE TIME OF THE LAST LAS VEGAS FANFAIRE.

As I've repeatedly stated, my demand, which has been strongly echoed and supported by this community, is that SOE seek the advice and counsel of at least one other person from this site, someone trusted by this community with a reputation of being honest, outspoken and extremely knowledgeable about the end game in EQ2, to replace me as an interface to end game players and this community.

If SOE wants EQ2 to succeed, it will seek to repair relations with this community and will work with us. If it does not, it will continue as the laughing stock of gamers and the gaming industry.

I know that if your company canceled their economic relationship with the 22,000 customers, without a viable (and thus, financial) reason, your company would be subject to a possible lawsuit from the customers, and from your shareholders.

My assumption was that there were serious enough financial problems in those customers to warrant cutting them off from your corporation, or your company is as retarded as you and willingly inviting lawsuits.(Unless there is a clause in your contracts that they may be terminated at any time, or if all those customers' trade covenants were being violated (EX here: their debt-equity ratio fell below a certain threshhold)).
