And lets be honest, the boot from a dead/dying program was barely a slap in the wrist. The first "wrong" was against SOE via Snarks post, and allowing it to live wasn't Snarks responsibility.
If I'm wrong about the poll, then sorry.

No.
For the 100th time:
Aeralik used mod rights that I'd accidentally granted him on this site to delete a post made by TANGARTH which named Aeralik's in game character.
I covered that up by lying to this community and saying that I'd deleted that post.
An uproar then ensued on this site among the people who'd seen that post before it was deleted, based on our policy of not deleting posts unless they violate a specific Site Rule.
Based on what I've done each and every time the Site Rules were changed on this site since day 1, I posted a poll asking whether the Site Rules should be amended to prevent players from outting the names of dev characters on this site. I posted that poll without naming Aeralik or anyone else in it. I did so because that was what site precedent required me to do.
The response to that poll was a landslide "no". To save the relationship with Aeralik, I overrode the poll and changed the Site Rules anyway, to prevent users from doing what TANGARTH had done.
Aeralik and I then had this PM exchange, where he accused me of posting the poll to generate traffic on this site, and where I reminded him I was merely trying to help dig him out of a hole he'd created for himself:
The very next day, I received an email from Grimwell stating that I'd been removed from the "Influencer" program for reasons that included abusing my relationships with SOE employees.
What Grimwell failed to state in that email is that he had also REVOKED EQ2FLAMES FANSITE STATUS.
I then made this post, accusing Grimwell of being a double dealing lying cocksucker:
This is how it will be?
I then changed the Site Rule back to what it was the day before, removing the clause about players on this site not being allowed to post dev character names.
Entirely independently of this, and FOR HIS OWN REASONS THAT WEREN'T RELATED TO MINE, Snark started this post, which revealed the in game character names of many devs, plus included the post of the now infamous "Trak Strat" which had been emailed by a SOE dev to NPU:
EQ2 Flames Consolidated Developer Information List
Snark's post proved to be much more popular than mine.
Then, almost two weeks went by with this drama still raging.
After it was revealed that SOE gave Winwin an "exclusive" related to the new Shard of Hate raid zone that Scott Hartsman had previously promised me in writing for this site before he left EQ2, I received and first saw the screenshot of a PM from Aeralik to his guild leader/raid leader, and started this thread:
Back at you, SOE
Those things, in chronological order, are exactly what happened.
EDIT: Oh yes, I also changed Tangarth's title to Archduke Ferdinand, based on his role in starting the chain of events that touched off this world war. Me and Tangarth are cool now, and I harbor no ill will toward him or anyone in this matter besides Grimwell, Brenlo, Bruce Ferguson, and Aeralik. They are the ones who started this, not me.
