I've seen this whole scenario played out else where and it didn't end pretty either. Not going to point fingers at either party.. instead I'll point at both. Posting private PM's is really sorted. I only knew one guy who sunk low enough to do that. But, then again, the same guy posted naked pics of his wife on a public game forum because somebody claimed her boobs weren't real.

I guess you didn't notice, but it's pretty obvious that people here wouldn't play eq2 if there was any other MMO that was worth dropping eq2 for. The fact is, there isn't. People bitch and still play the game because it's essentially a hobby, and people would rather play a mediocre, broken MMO, then no MMO at all.
What do you want people to do? Pretend that they love all the game mechanics, itemization, progression, etc.? People are outspoken about the game because they wish it were better in certain aspects...Not because they hate it. There's a big difference there....This is an internet forum, forums were pretty much designed for people who like to bitch ;) |
