(Oasis) Conviction - Into the Unknown

We are a raiding guild from LotRO that moved to EQ2 in January of this year. We currently hold all world firsts in LotRO, however we feel that the development of the game is too slow to keep it challenging enough, thus we have moved here to EQ2 to raid. We have leveled up fast to 80 and have even completed 8 epic weapon quests this weekend with 12 more to follow by the weekend.

Ever since the initial conception of Conviction, we have held a very tight and strict recruitment policy to ensure we met the goals that were set from the beginning. These policies remain intact to this day and anyone wishing to join Conviction must have an incredible knowledge of not only their class, but MMO gaming in general.

Currently we are looking for any players that know their class well, have high play times and above all a good attitude. If you are interested please post an app at Recruitment or simply PM me on our forums or here and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

All classes will be considered on a case by case basis.

We had some set backs and lost a few people due to some real life issues and had to re build a bit. We are back on track and ready to push through Overking and VS into Tier 3.

We are currently raiding M, W, F at 8pm est and Sundays at 7pm est. Typically we end no later than 1am est, but try to be done by midnight est.

We will start raiding three times a week, MWF starting at 8pm est. Once we are into raiding and have less of a need to farm we will open up a weekend day to raid as well. The goal with loot distribution is to have a fair system that rewards those that make the raids. We look at each piece of loot as improving the team, not the individual player. Please read our DKP Policy for more info on our loot distribution.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to raid with an experienced gaming community to come in on a blank slate. There is no preference to loot distribution, if you show up you get rewarded whether you are new to the guild or a veteran member. The only advantage veteran members get is more privileges withdrawing from the bank, we do that as a safeguard to prevent any possible issues.

Everyone has been working hard together to ensure we are ready to be successful in T8 raids. We have some members that have been into VP and some with all T7 experience.

Thanks for all the interest, sorry to those I couldnt invite.

Our raid force is pretty much set just need a solid Troub and an Inquisitor to have our ideal set up to conquer RoK.

All but a select few people have their epic weapons, we will be working hard to get those finished in time for raid progression.

We started raiding on target 6 weeks after most of our core players created characters in EQ2. We wiped viciously to Pawbuster for a few hours Sunday to get the feel for tough encounters, after many guilds told us to use the pathing to kill him, we simply said no thanks we'll kill him how its supposed to be done.

Last night we went into Protectors Realm for the first time and cleared up to Imzok. Needless to say I was incredibly impressed with the quick progress, and we will have all of tier 1 completed in our first week of raiding.

Still need a dedicated Troub and Inquis and another Dirge as one of our mains has been called back to Iraq
