Re: Arcane Sanctum-Unrest
I play Direfly, a guardian in Arcane Sanctum. I came from hard core high end raiding several days a week in EQ1. I just couldn't keep up with the hard core raiding all week anymore. But I didn't want to say goodbye to progressive raiding and fade away in to pickups raids and frustrating looking for group nights. If your story sounds like mine, then Arcane Sanctum might be a nice home for you these days.
We have a progressive raid plan. Every week, we want to improve and go farther than we did last week.
The real fun of being a part of this guild is a chance to be a part of the building process. I know most of you would say that doesn't sound like fun. But it can be and it is. From grouping with mid level guildies on their alts, to end game group level zones, to raiding older content and moving through it quickly. It's really good times if you ask me.
The max level is 80 right now, so that old level 70 KoS and EoF content is loads of quick and easy fun. Eventually we may catch up with end game. Or we may just keep a steady pace a little behind end game. Thats all good in my book. I don't know about the rest of you, but I was always bummed out in EQ1 when we ran out of end game raiding content. Having something to look forward to next week feels great.
I know finding a successful guild in this stage in EQ2 is difficult. Most guilds at this content level are either doing pickup raids, joint raids, or even struggleing to raid at all. Most guilds that have successful raids are way beyond this content because the game has been around a few years now. But we are just getting started, so the content is just right for the fun levels.
If you join us at a later date, or join another guild entirely, you may miss out on the chance to be a part of our foundation. I know there are others out there that enjoy this building process. So come check us out.
