Genesis - Crushbone

Genesis a lvl 60 guild is looking for a few exceptional players to round out our roster. (Genesis :: The mothership Everquest 2 guild on Crushbone)

We raid Sunday - Thursday 8pm Eastern mountain time - 12am. We currently clear ALL of KoS/FTH/CWM/MMIS and EH.

Typically we have some of the funnest afterparty raids in game!

Loot is leader awarded based on need and when the last time loot was earned.
(Make no qualms about it, if you join you will EARN your loot)

We do parse healer/DPS and view it after every fight. While we don't expect you to lead the parses we do expect you to put up some respectable numbers for your class. If your gear is lacking we can remedy that, skill is what we are looking for, we can gear you up fast.

Ingame contacts are Docu, Svanna, Bubazeus, Murrcury and if your feeling frisky Karog. ;)

The following classes are in high need: 80+ AA's\30% adorned not required but encouraged.

Mystic (OT Group setup, 3/4 mastered) (High Priority)
Inquisitor(DPS/OT/MT group setup)(High Priority)
Ranger (2K+ Prefered)
Assassin (2K+ Prefered)
Brigand (2K+ Prefered)
Illusionist (2k+ Prefered)

A friend mentioned the way you earn loot and I think perspective recruits (not myself ;-)) should know.. do you use DKP or Guild Officer Decision?

It's officer decision based on a number of factors.

Primary when was the last time you looted VS. the other person.
Need and comparison of that slot your replacing versus the other person. (I.E. the person in mastercrafted will get the item above the person replacing fabled.)
Attendance

Other than that we try to be as fair as possible, building the raid force will only benifit the entire guild if the equipment is spread out evenly and just. Sometimes it doesn't seem that way in guildies eyes however you have to realize we will probably kill that mob over and over again, and the item you wanted to badly will eventually drop again. Your job is to be there when it does. Thats what i mean by, you WILL EARN your loot with us.

wierd system

Is it also based on attendance? because someone who doesn't raid much, but is wearing bad gear get's a replacement.. say over someone who is there everynight

I will speak on the side of officer council for loot, it's a great system.. provided your guild leader has a wife and doesn't like to cyber, that way bribes won't be applicable!

I have a friend in this guild whom says she really enjoys it.. I can't speak for their level of play, but I'm sure with a few good players they'd probably step up in the expansion... From what I've heard they used to really tear shit up.

The officers basically vote on loot distribution through private discussion after interested players send tells. Its not one person deciding. Someone usually looks at guild events for last time ppl won, we talk about their attendance, how good it is for their class versus others, etc.

In over 2 years running loot this way I think we've only had a handful of serious complaints. We did dkp early T5 but changed it up later. This is fast, easy, and gets gear in the hands of those that need and deserve it. Their can be mistakes sure, but we had problems when we did dkp also.

It is all covered in our guild rules on the website.

WTF, i dont know what i would do if Mournblade didn't like to cybor with meh
