The Ewer of Sul'Dae is Back?!
Firstly, I'd like to give a big thanks to Exordium for opening up the Anashti Sul diety on the Everfrost server.
Now, in the fourth diety quest, "What is Rightfully Hers," you are to go retrieve the Ewer in the Dark Bargainers Workshop. HOWEVER, the Ewer was destroyed by you three expansions ago, when you took the Rod of Rathe Shattering down to the Fountain of Life (after farming Eyes for MONTHS), smacked Godking across the face, and destroyed the Ewer.
So if the Ewer is destroyed, how is it not destroyed?
But suppose you never did the Peacock quest series. In that case, the Dark Bargainers could've gone and wiped the place out and stole the Ewer, right?
But if that's the case, why didn't Celistae d'Galdis notice when she went down into the Silent City to rally everyone up?
Personally, I have not done the Anashti Sul quest series; the information I have was provided by people who have done it. If anyone can provide logs of conversations with Celistae (in quest three, "Sounding the Clarion"), and all the dialogue and quest steps from quest four, "What is Rightfully Hers," we could perhaps get to the bottom of this.

Talk to the NPC's nearby in the tradeskill area. It was rebuilt in Neriak.

Re: The Ewer of Sul'Dae is Back?!
Further note: What quests you do or monsters you kill as the overall objective of an expansion isn't necessarily canon. Ie: Kerafrym in EQ1, Venekor (3 times), Mistmoore, the list goes on and on. This isn't the case for the Peacock quests (a few NPC's mention it, more notably the quest NPC for the Tinker Bag), but keep it in mind when asking "omg why is me killing xxyz not canon!?!".

Re: The Ewer of Sul'Dae is Back?!
I understand that what quests you do wouldn't affect the lore of EQ2, and with this in mind, why would they be "rebuilding" it if it was never destroyed in the first place?
Also, how do you rebuild the fricken' Ewer of Sul'Dae? That's like Star Wars in this way:
"Oh no, the Death Star blew up!"
"That's okay, we'll just rebuild it!"
SOE is nuts.

There are plenty of beings powerful enough to escape death, such as Mayong. You learn of his immortality after completing the RoK raid progression questline. I'm sure Venekor could avoid dying as well, or perhaps the Ring of Scale ressurected him? Look at the onslaught Nagafen went up against when he was attacked by Darathar and the Drakota.

Well, it was built by someone in the first place, probably wouldn't be hard to rebuild it. There are people in Neriak who are associated with Malkonis D'Morte, who has extensive knowledge on the Ewer. In fact, if I recall correctly, he's the one who gave it to Anashti Sul. Either way, he's connected to it in a big way. You meet him during the Peacock Club line and he rambles about it for a while.
It all adds up!

Huh, I don't remember talking to D'Morte during that line.

He's a vampire who appears sometimes in a swarm of bats, and bows every time he leaves.
Still, the EQ2 lore = "what"

He shows up twice in DoF, once when your doing Prismatic 2 and he tells you he was the one who originally brought the Ewer of Sul'Dae back to Anashti from Neriak, and again later on in one of the DoF raid instances (i forget which one specifically) where you battle him because he's pissed you "shattered" the Ewer of Sul'Dae.
Go near the crafting/broker area in Neriak theres an NPC that says they rebuilt the Ewer in Neriak, but it turned some of the Neriak residents working on it into the Vampires that live there now.
Originally i thought the Ewer was a large Bowl sized thing, like a large chalice, but recently my guild raided the Godking and we actually seen the Ewer high above the tower Anashti's painting is on, its actually huge, the size of a hot tub.. lol.
A buddy on Guk that completed the quest says when he went to Neriak to steal it back for Anashti, it was bigger then his character....lol

Re: The Ewer of Sul'Dae is Back?!
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the Ewer of Sul'Dae, as seen in the Fountain of Life!
That's pretty much what it looks like. But I always thought that the water from the Ewer made you unliving, but not necessarily a vampire.
