I just read something interesting in another thread that simply mentioned Theer being the sintenel of The Namelss.
I was hoping someone else had more information on him, or could point me to where information can be obtained.

It thread I found mentioned him being a sentinel to keep the gods in check under the nameless.. but this didn't make any sense to me.
'Cause The Nameless is driving will of existence.
Created the Elemental Gods, who have no quarrels, just designed to create.
Created the Infulential Gods, who were created so numerous to keep themselves in check by their clashing ideals.

So what point is Theer, ontop of who is he?

psh, I hate it when eq2 lore changes the history of eq1. "OH YEA! by the way, there was this huge even that we forgot to ever tell you about, kkthx!"
And Nameless came first. he created teh gods that created the gods that were at war.

You say Anashti is the lieutenant.

This void zone is where all powerful beings get banished to?Also what is the story with Anasthi and the whole SS line how does that tie with this.

Before the Curse of Ro a faction of Eldars Elves,splited from main empire, formed their own city. They turned away from Tunare and instead worshipped Anashti Sul, The Goddess of Life. One day, a dark elf D'Morte, banished from his home, come across the city. He had a powerfull artifact Ewer of Live,which was tied to Anashti. It was given to Godking, leader of the Sul'Dal, in exchange of calling Akhet'Akhen a new home. Many years after, when Curse of Ro hits, the Godking promised his people that they would be safe in the city and that the Ewer would grant them eternal life. But it was a huge mistake- Ewer killed them all and rised as undeads, city was covered by sands and remains undiscovered for hundreds years. In Dof we killed Godking and have destroyed Ewer.

it never made sense to me that the void is thought of as something evil.. That's where the Nameless is from, and he's pretty f'in pro imo

I dont think the nameless is from the void, he is just the omnipresent being that created everything, he doesnt necessarily live there.

It does seem the next expansion will center heavy around theer, hopefully it wont be a TSO palace copy and paste.

Official lore excerpt from eq1:

The void referred to there isn't the same as The Void which we know of in EQ2. It's more like the space that existed before anything else existed. The Void is an actual place, either a plane of its own, or space existing between planes, or something else. It is not the home plane of The Nameless as The Nameless doesn't have one because everything is The Nameless' plane.

I don't get it.. why is it the void if it's not the void? What?
