Looked around for some lore on this bad boy and couldnt find anything substantial. Is he in any way vampiric ?

He is vampiric, and he's a dragon, and he's Mayong Mistmoore's pet. He is said to be guarding something or someone more powerful than him, and an ancient symbol tied to the void appears in magic underneath him.
My assumption it is some sort of portal or seal or barrier that leads to Theer.
