So did they literally throw this together with absolutely no explanation?

If anyone has any lore as to why Miragul's shard suddenly appeared, how mortals gained access to it, or what in the fuck Miragul is doing I would love to read it.

This lore dev is utterly incompetent.

From what I have worked out from a bit of reading, Mirigual did some weird shit, went traveling, and found himself in the Eternal Shard that started to change around him.
