Default SF Lore - The Vigilant

I just recently finished up the heroic vigilant zones and getting keyed to the x2. The npc that you turn the quest into after escorting the captain and getting the crystal (Daecon Joh'N was his name i think) had something interesting to say that I've been wondering about. He said something along the lines of " there is more to the vigilant that what we have told you. Its too much to explain right now so I'll give you notes on it that you can read at your leisure". Then your response is "I'm honored you trust me with such a secret).

The trouble I'm having is that I don't think he gave me any of the notes he was talking about at least I wasn't able to find them in my bag and yes i did look at the list of items by mousing over bags in inventory window. I was kinda hoping for a big ass book like the one you get at the beginning of the TSO quest line. Now it is possible that I accidentally destroyed the notes thinking they were an L&L book or something else so if any body has a link to those stories if they even exist I would love to read them.

Seriously after clearing 3 heroic zones and following all the quest dialog I still have no clue what the heck a Talonite is or where they came from.

Surely these documents (if they exist) contain the answers to the most vital questions about the Talonites. Like why was part of their invading force lead by a gorilla and why the hell was there a dinosaur in the freezer?! ( i know i know a throwback to lunchmeat + chef fight in Guk halls of the fallen) Got a good laugh out of that.

Hopefully there will be more answers in the x2.

The Talonites are the remnants of the forces of Tallon Zek (God of Tactics) one of Rallos' sons. Iirc most of there ranks were decimated during the Rathe tho these apparently are the oldest and most powerful of Tallon's forces (thus why end mob in the x2 speaks of countless battles etc). Now this is all going from memory so some of this may be off but the reason that they are reappearing is because the disappearance of Lucan as it was the Rathe which brought Lucan to power in the first place after a titanic battle that resulted in the gods cursing the intellect of the ogres and trolls ever since. Any of the original forces of Rallos and and Tallon would have been untouched by the curse that afflicted their brethren. As to what their plan would be and why they need the Vigilant I have no idea.

Did they steal the ship from Euridites? I had in mind that some built that ship to try and return to Norrath but IDK was just my thoughts, they need to explain this Lol
attack ship to invade the new Odus?
Randomly floating around long lost Race who ended up there?
Can't help but think of Star Trek when I am onboard the ship.

A lot of SF's lore was left unanswered and confusing.

If i remember right, in the pre-SF lead up Kander said the Vigilant was a large cargo ship (sea based) but when Odus was ported into Ultera they converted it into an air ship?

been a while since i went back and re-read that stuff.

With what we now know (Zek's coming to town, and trying to sacrifice his kids for power), it may be safe to assume the Tallonites wanted the Vigilant as a tool to bust Tallon Zek out of Drunder. Of course, since we've completely bolluxed that plan like the good little adventurers we are, now we get to go in and try to do it ourselves. Which hey, it's loot, so it's all for the good in my book...
