Eq1 chanters THOUGHT they could DPS...they ended up being liability with pet continually needed to be snared.

Without a pet the nuke they had was laughable :P The proc on that mace from plane of time could out damage them.

That being said, EQ2 Illusionist is a nice addition to group gameplay, mine is only 30 but I get comments on mezzes ALL the time in groups. Ever thank a warrior for taunting? NOPE.

Coercer can go charm stuff and die in a hole somewhere.

He's got the Coil of Vile DPS err Spawn. In order to get 15k though he'll need to have a really solid group since the will pretty much have to die in 2-3 seconds tops.

Single target it will add a 3.5-6k hit depending on crit/debuffs.
