I heard he made the decision in T7 and still couldn't do 900 dps

Umm old school raiding for casters was dps have no idea where surviability came from.

oooo i know you mean switch out gear for resists?

Guess here is a newsflash back then mage gear was garbage and generally didnt increase DPS....so not sure what choice you refer to.

I have 7k hp solo, but even if I had 4k the likelihood of me getting killed by aoes in one hit is still just about the same

the gear issue is all over the classes as said not just robes and shit...

hell when dpsing i throw on all my legendary and fabled instance gear and get my numbers, and so far even in VP theres fuck all to replace that gear from cake instances...

latest example...shoulders from that bitch in maidens with the healing bone shield drops fabled plate shoulders which are awsome for tanking AND DPS, the other night a dragon in VP dropped plate shoulders, again fabled that in comparison sucked dick in pretty much every way...i dont like it but wtf do u do ya know.

hell look at the ring from chelsith, currently adding 1-1.2k dps on group fights for our casters who have it...again instance loot
