Hmmm.... You know this is kind of funny. So today I was in Maidens, and I looted this badass freaking robe.

Jarsath Robe of Royalty

+25 STA +50 INT
+50 Health +200 Power
+5 Disruption
+4 Spell Crit
+100 Spell Damage

Ok that is from an instance group people.

A couple days ago, we raided T3 RoK, and got a Necro/Conj chest piece.

Leviathan Sealed Robe

+42 STA +52 INT
+200 Health/Power
+1,013 Cold +972 Magic +891 Divine
+100 Spell Damage

Is it just me, but does anyone see a problem with this?!?!?!?

You're just unlucky cause Leviathan drop a badass robe :

But I see your point, Instance loot > some T8 fabled...

FFS! for scouts, mastercrafted armor > T8 fabled..

In tier 7

Unrest wand > most raid mage 1hs
Unrest cloak > most raid mage cloaks
Mystical orb of the invoker > most raid mage earrings
Necromantic Orb > all but 1 mage symbol
Bone clasped Girdle > most raid mage belts
Xhavix Gown of Glory > all raid robes up until ToNT and RoA (yes it was a better idea to wear the Nest robe over my MMIS Mayong robe.)
Nizara wrist proc item > tons of available raid mage wrists (prolly all but BoT and lost knowledge wrists)
Ring of four winds was pretty nice considering it was a quest update. Infact Cheldraks quest update reward is almost better than his entire loot table it seemed.

Point is why are you waiting to now to complain about this =p Shits been the same way for over a year. Instances and soloable things have uber rewards, not a new concept. /shrug. Theres always been stuff available from instances that can you can say "hey, this is soloable and it owns this raid loot." But there was still enuf raid loot that was upgrades from soloable stuff in KoS/EoF...so i really don't care that much

I see your point, but I just wish SoE would make raid loot better than instances, most of the time atleast. It's been a continuing trend that some instance gear is not a little better than raid loot, it dominates it.

That's right, now you have to be a big boy and choose between dps and survivability. Old-school raiding used to require this, remember?

Lol! I think I can give up some resists for that sick crit and spell damage!

But enough said, even though it is just an instanced robe, is extremely good. It dominates most raid caster chest pieces I've seen so far. So for now I'm going to presume there is a better one out there, but at the moment this one owns.
