Glad I wasn't missing anything then. Wouldn't be half bad if it worked 100% of the time I cast it and displayed something in my chat log.

I would settle for a buff icon in my matianed to let me know the god damn thing was up, Also needs a lower cast timer, takes to long to cast, Its good if you can time it to help take big AOEs but usless as an emergency help spell cause of the cast time.

I dont know if that would help. When it does seem to work its killed so fast you wouldnt even see the icon. It seems to take a certain amount of damage (amount seems low) and then disappear. I actually saw it for less then 1 second the other night on a raid. Anyways it needs to be changed or revamped to something more usefull but I am not holding my breath. We illusionists have it good for the moment.

I click on it all the time and I FINALLY actually saw it for the first time tonight lol, it stood there, then got owned immediately when the damage hit.

Saw mine too for the first time the other day in MC. Used it about 5 times, and saw it one time. It's hard to experiment with this because of the long recast timer and the fact it takes another group member besides the illusionist to even cast it.

The master version did take quite a beating before poofing. Not a bad spell, if it would actually work consistently when cast.

I know why doppleganger gets resisted. its cast on a mob. when i was in maiden i used it a couple of times on the last boss. it workt pretty often when i casted it trough the mob and saw the icon from doppleganger on the mob

even if it was resisting, it shouldn't be like a 10% chance to hit, even mobs with high mental resist take like 60% of mental spells

when i cated the spell trough the boss i had a 100% hit from the spell. i think when i casted the spell trough mobs i had a 90% succes rate

Cast mine multiple times and I have actually only seen it once...kinda disappointing. Heck even the coercer guildie I raid with has her 80 spell up alot and that can be seen. Sure hope our epic makes up for the broken 80 spell they gave us.
