Doppleganger? - Page 3

Well I see it pop in heroic instances pretty much every time I cast it, I have a macro setup and have the tanks name as the target in the macro. It acts really weird though, I still have to have the mob targeted (not that I actually hardly ever target through a tank) in order to see it appear. Seems to me though that the dammage absorption is all over the place, sometimes it takes a beating in a heroic zone, others it dies in 1 hit. And in raid zones it usually dies really fast.

Popped for the first time in like two weeks for me again last night. You can watch the gray damage pop up over its head, adept three takes like 3-5 hits tallying up to 10-15k dmg.

yesterday ik Protecters realm i cast it on the last boss when the pilars were up. He reflected it so we got an doppelganger of the boss :P

this spell is broken because it gets cast on the mob and not on the player. plz fiz this

ok well i have seen it a couple times but wtf im susposed to look at its freakin head to see how much its absorbing? and why the hell doesnt it show something in the logs?

Not exactly. It gets applied to the target, who then does an instant cast/recovery(which would explain why it doesn't work half the time, because it gets interrupted/cancelled) on the mob.

Not anymore, the only thing broken with it is how many raids I can save with it when razieh goes afk

Its not exactly awesome, but you can save a tanks arse with it when one of your healers falls asleep, or just as added protection after a nasty double attack.

Given its limited range and quite long recast it does feel lacking still... but at least it bloody does something when you cast it now.
