Default Prismatic Chaos x4 vs Prismatic Adornment x3

For those of you debating whether or not to keep the Mayong T7 Class BP or use something else....

I'll use one of my parses from last night. ZW, including named.

Wizzy was off that night...

So, Prismatic Shock did 591.61 ZW with 2252.67 average, 286 hits. Lets just assume I did not ever waste the 4th proc from the BP, so if I had 216 hits (25% less), with 1089 seconds of fighting in the zone:

I would lose 150dps just from the removal of the 4th proc.

However, if I used Prismatic Adornment M1, I estimated that the average hit would be around 2557 or so. With 216 hits:

I would lose 84dps just from upgrading to the T8 spell with 3 procs.

So - I would have to find a BP that adds 84dps (as well as finding the M1 of Prismatic Adornment, not even sure if its been disco'ed yet on Unrest) to make up for it.

We're not in T4 yet so the 3 set bonus won't apply to me for a while. Haven't seen much in T1/T2 yet in terms of caster robes, but I think its safe to say Drusella's robe would be the only chance of coming close (+4 crit/+150 spell IIRC). Of course, it hasn't dropped for me yet.

Anyways, YMMV, and my math might be slightly off, but it should give you a general idea.

The robe from Hokshir or whatever his name is is uber and I retired my old EOF bp for it. Puts that Drusella robe to shame!

I have m1 of adornment, and i'd say on average it hits more around the 2.8k range and crits around 3.2-3.5k, which isnt too bad at all, and theres a few robes in game that are worth retiring your t7 set bp if you have the m1 of adorn.
