Just looking at this parse tells me a lot. Mostly that it's definitely not as good as you're making it out to be. It's doing less than my Brainclot(the spell, not the end) would do now, and it's doing the same amount it used to do back pre-mythicals. Still though, just basing on the parse puts it kind of hard to tell how good it is, mostly because of how weak that parse is. Considering I'm already on the edge of aggro without it, I'm pretty certain I would die nearly every pull if I had it unless I ditched VM and "cheated" Sever Hate.

I agree the parse isn't going to be as helpful for people that are better geared, considering the dps from other things will go up, while that proc is going to be static for the most part no matter what you do. If you are doing 5k zw's I would think it's around 4-5% of the total. It's hard for me to get good parses in a zone like VP too since we are just starting out in there. I'll post more parses if I can get more stable ones, usually I am between 3600-4000zw, and it is still a solid 8% from what I can recall. EQ2 players is EverQuest II Players if you wanted to look at that.

Ok, tested this one myself. Proc is ok, but only on trash. Got russian ACT, so i`ll post just in words. On VP trash it gaves me 350-480 dps (my dps between 6k-8,8k on most fights and practicaly no troubles with agro) so, its not bad at all. But , on nameds(exept trash burn fights) its pretty common to overaggro and die. So imo this item is good but not excellent for us. Maybe it will be a little better with Trak`s symbol, but dont wannna to spend my dkp. Btw, it wasn`t my wicked wand of malice - our Warlock casted it on me

Wicked wand of Malice:
On common duration fights, a dps add between 150 and 300 is usual. everything else is bullshit. The shorter the fight is, the higher is the damage output usually. if you spam a lot of fast spells, blink and stuff like that, it is possible to get 400-500dps numbers but thats just shit and doesnt count. Sure, u raise the dps of Malefic fury but you'll loose a lot of your usual dps if you focus only on Malefic Fury. As i said, 150-300 is common for normal raidfights.
By the way, they already began to nerf the item. 5% castspeed are gone so far.
Another point is, you have to change your casting order to avoid getting aggro right from the beginning of the fight. I had to switch the casting order to dots first and then i head over to the usual spellorder.

Slow casters like Warlocks got a dps boost of approx 100 but I think they benefit more from the castspeed than the dmg add.

we havent done much other then tangrion and an avatar since i got it, i think we are doing vp tonight, ill post a parse, as for its hit rate on orange con mobs, after about 6 hours of pulling an avatar last night, its hit rate was 68%, its averege hit rate on a fully debuffed avatar was between 70-73%, ill post tonights vp parse and see how it goes.
