I don't see how this item can do 8-9% of our zw, considering that'd be around ~450dps. Consider that the Wristbands of Lost Knowledge do around 50dps, that'd mean they do 9x as much damage, but they only do 5x the damage. So I'd rather see a parse break down on this item, because it just doesn't make sense that they'd be doing ~450dps and not pulling aggro considering you'd easily be pulling in more than enough threat to pull aggro.

So, saying 8-9% without a breakdown is pointless, let's see it.

I don't have a good zonewide parse since I got it, unfortunately.

On all the fights I've looked at (SoH trash, VP trash + Silverwing, PR) it did around 6-8% of my DPS on each one.

The average damage it does is around 500. The most I've seen it do is around 620-ish on every spell. So while looking at the base damage it does (~200) it may not seem like much, but when you actually put it into play it does a bit more than you think.

As for pulling aggro, the only times it has happened so far is if I attack a little early (before the tank has got it locked down) or on a memwiping mob (in which case I take it off).

I'll get a zonewide as soon as I can tbh.

I'll do a parse tonight. I should say that our guild is still working in VP, so there are no mythicals, our raid dps is around 55-65k usually, mine is usually between 3500-4000. I would think if your pet is out and you have more sources of dps, naturally the zw on the wand will go down a bit. Considering its resist rate on oranges is 5% or less, and procs on any hostile spell, the stats alone make it a great item, the proc makes it a must-have for spam casters.

9% seems high, 6% is probably more the average, roughly equivalent to the HoDD. Would also be curious if anyone is having problem with aggro control while using it. IMO, HoDD>WWoM but am unsure where Death Chimes might fit in that ladder.

Don't hate me because this was a messy run...but even at 3.1zw it was still doing the same, around 8% with 240dps or so. I didn't pull aggro once tonight. I think the troub deaggro proc helps quite a bit for spamming.



The picture is not the best but it shows 241 dps, 8%zw, min hit is 225, max is 584, hit 488/498. This is in PR too, not VP, but I have noticed it hardly resists at all except on orange mobs, looking at our Druushk fight tonight, the to-hit was 89%. We have yet to kill the him, but we did get him to around 40% so it was a somewhat stable parse.
