Last night I got the Robe of Ancient Terror of Leviathan but I'm not sure if it's better than Vest of Illusory Vexation... the effect is really nice but I loose one trigger of prismatic chaos.
So does anyone know which one would be better (with prismatic adornment m1)? Should I wait until I have 3 items of the Shimmering Hues Set or should I replace the vest right now?

Well if it helps any. Prismatic Adornment M1 crits for over 3k. Can't remember Chaos hitting that high.

Just going through what I had open on ACT (one night of raiding), I've had Chaos crit for 3056. Typical high-end crit is around 2900 though.

m1 adornment averages just under 3k for me, high hit of 3476 (just from the last temple run, act crashed when I tried to also add VP on there). It would need to do about another 500 though if it were to justify using over chaos + vest, assuming you don't have 3 set bonus for adornment.

Vexation > all chests untill you get a vp 3 set imo

3 procs from adormant are averaging me about 9500 dammage
4 procs from chaos are averaging me about 11k dammage

my adormant usually does around 3.1k and chaos usually does around 2.8k

I don't know I have Robe of Dark Power. I am liking it over my EoF set chest.

I have never math "nutted" to the point of figuring out exact gains from crit chances etc. I however find it hard to believe that even the dark power is better then switching out the chest piece.

I could be wrong on this but If you cast it every time it is up and given a 1.5k extra dmg from the set piece, you would be giving up at least 50-100 dps depending on dammage differences etc. Sure its not great but will the 9 crit help that much?

considerign t8 prismatic is critting for close to 4k (a m1) and im over the int cap in raids. Has a pretty high proc rate relativly, and im sitting at 77 crit in raids with a potion. 1 set piece away from 3 set but the hoshkar robe is deffintly > our t7 vest, the maidens robe would be closer, but if your running m1 PA still an easy decision imo

well 77 crit may be a diff story ;) but still if you think about it m1 chaos can crit for 3k if you had 1 extra chaos thats 3k more dammage, adornment critting for 4k each time is gaining 3k dammage. Making them about equall, of course the 9 crit from the robe is effecting other spells so maybe your right.
