So far, got that it might start outside of maidens with a scorpion guy, back and to the left of maidens entrance. You need the sathirian language (think so cause he wont talk to me), first start may be some sort of riddle, but thats heresay from other illusionists on the server since I haven't seen it myself yet.

After that, I'm stumped. I can't find any reference to The Maiden's Mask in EQ2 or EQ1 lore.

I heard that Guardians have to have the BBC in their inventory to get their epic quest... I wonder if the "Maiden's Mask" is the "Missing Mask" HQ? Is there any lore regarding a female owner of the mask?

That was my thought as well, but apparently having Guise of the Deceiver makes no difference. I asked an Illusionist on our server who had Guise to try that and he got nowhere with it. (I didn't do Guise on my Illusionist)

Incidentally, I ran the Maiden's Gulch Heroic instance to no avail as well, so that's not our next step.

has anyone checked the maiden's chambers? I know seems a little obvious, but I know they made a lot of changes in there

I scoured the Maiden's Chamber. Other than a new book at the end which wouldn't let me do anything to it there was nothing out of the ordinary.

Things that have been checked:

Using Guise on Modani has no effect, be it in your inventory or with the illusion on.
Standing with illusion on "for a while" has had no effect either.
Two new books popped up, one in each library in Qey and FP mage towers. They can be highlighted and interacted with, but respond with a message that they can be opened only by the Queen/Overlord respectively. (the Halloween masks have been tried with no effect)
Maidens chamber has been scoured. The new book has been found but no way to interact with it (from reports, I'm going in with a group in a lil bit to try some other stuff)
Maidens Gulch has been done, and scoured.
Tried killing scorps around Modani, no luck.
Tried killing just about every illusionist mob we could think of, no luck.
Tried killing same mobs as coercer starter drops, no luck.

Other zones checked, but the thoroughness which they were checked is unclear:
All Qeynos city zones including suburbs
"Sewer" zones in both FP and Qey
The main FP city zones
Shimmering Citadel
Poets Palace

Thats all I can recall at the moment.

has anyone checked Klakanon or KP near Highton/JW (Burning Woods) for Jeb Lemused, or Nadia or Mizzle?
if Modani is there, maybe some of the others are around somewhere too?

My main is an enchanter in eq1 and I had the same exact thought there Kitra, and I looked all over the burning woods for Jeb and I couldnt find him. I dunno if i just didnt look hard enough or what but I have not looked for Nadia or Mizzle yet. And Paneel is outta the question, unless its another zone in eq2 I dont know about?
