Re: Illu epic found
Fact is, utility is great, but for this item to be better than any other group item we could get right now it needs to add some kind of damage for the illusionist or for his/her group. This will be more evident when you notice that no illusionist will ever use theirs, a casual grouper who likes to do instances won't need the power, savante and gazes can keep the power up for a group even in coa with constant pulling. Plus they have better options like the quested two hander at 80, grizzfazzles from level 65, the unrest wand from level 70, and SOD at level 70. Raiders are definitely not going to use it, even people who just raid protectors realm are going to add more raid dps using the 4% recast baton than our current group form epic.
Bards are utility classes also, now why is it they got damage procs or effects that increase their dps, and we got a group effect that our group doesn't even care about

Re: Illu epic found
If the devs want to see us as utility, fine, here's better group utility buffs... I would like to see something more like the conjy epic personally, that had a nice effect I would love to use. But we're "utility" so here goes.
- Group buff that lowers spell cost for X seconds by Y%. Like a mini savante, and not as lame as a 2-trigger power proc.
- Group buff that adds a short-term spell proc dmg to group... like for 10 seconds, and something like 150 dmg, nothing too high so as not to make it too OP'd.
- Proc that gives the group X% casting and recast haste for Y seconds.
- Group proc that lowers resistability for a short duration (mini-illuminate)
- Proc effect on mob that adds a stackable 5% haste/dps for anyone that hits the mob for X seconds.
Any of the above (or a combo) would be better for a grouping illusionist than a lame 2-trigger power proc. BTW I made up these effects with grouping in mind, not raiding don't make fun of my numbers.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner.
It's a shame the designer of the epics "got" certain classes pretty much dead on, like Fury, but were clueless about Illusionists.
As I stated in SOE forums, please remove the power proc and change it to a mental encounter damage dot around the power of warlocks epic and make it tick a smaller amount of power back to our group.

Re: Illu epic found
I like it, hopefully less hearts to that Wayn character. Why not wait to see how the actual mythical version is before saying it's total shit. Alot of people have complained about their group epic but loved their raid version, don't get me wrong I feel for you I know I would've been pissed if the necro epic proc had been for power. Patience IMO
Hi friend Wayn!

Re: Illu epic found
Probably because anyone can get the group version and probably 2% of the gaming population can get the mythical version?
