Thoughts:

No damage proc or modifier, but the free pet is sorta like a damage proc.
Guilds with a single Illy will probably stick Illy in melee group now.

I don't know, doesn't look as terrible as i thought it'd be. I'm not to worried about low pet dps because of being stuff in melee group, fuck with the extra conc just tandem the fucker and TC it if you have a druid healer.

Bam raid wide potm, the only thing you really will miss out on not being in the mage group is Aria of magic from the troub and I guess dehate.

am i missing something? last i checked summoners gave jack shit and precognitions was nerfed , i guess gift of velious or w/e from a wizard?

all tho that aria of magic focus looks Hawt. unless of course it doesn't stack with boe...

Well, okay seriously tho. People running pure-mage/troub/fury groups are stupid. Recruit a 2nd Troub, ditch the 3rd Dirge already. Setup groups with troub, illusionist, 2xsorc/summ, pred/rogue, fury/inq.

Propagations may not be good for item procs, but it's still badass for poisons and any casted %-chance proc.

I'm not disappointed in our epic as much as I thought I would be. The only thing I see lacking is some str on it. Our gear notoriously lacks str, but thats a whole other complaint. I like it, I think its unique to the class and it will be fun to have a pet out on raids again. My guild runs 2 illy's so we mix up groups alot anyway. I will wait and pass judgment on it when I have it in my hands (within a week) and can test the affect on RW and personal dps.

Yeah not much of our gear has STR at all. BCG has like 7, and I still have stupid Novum Tectum because Praetor's seems to remove itself from the loot table when I do VoES, and Novum has 6.

Even +40 STR wouldn't make a large difference, but we gain a bunch from other players buffs like wizzys.

I'd still rather get STA than STR for survivability, but I'd take STR over WIS or AGI.

In a vacuum, our mythical is decent. When you compare it with other classes, it's shite. The troub mythical is soooo vastly more powerful than ours (as the dirge mythical is to the coercer).

Making rapidity raid wide would be a first step. adding a damage proc of some kind, even if it gives the damage proc to someone else, would be good as well. making the power proc group wide would be nice, but sort of unnecessary...

I see what the devs are trying to do here - support class epic supports the raid, etc. but the support this weapon offers, quite frankly, sucks compared to other weapons.

also, i am not sure how much i like the concentration removal. do our pets' control spells affect epics? will this take away our ability to stun a mob if necessary because our pets have triggered the immunity?

I thought of this too. I'll probably hit some grey epics and send the pet by itself in to see if when something like my stun lands if the stun effect doesn't show. ...unless someone already has done this. agressiv
