Default Pet procing immunties on epics?

So with the inevitible useage of the pet on 95% of encounters now, the question of the pet causing immunities on epic mobs has coem up a few times, Below are screenshots of all of our pets abilitys, notice he only has one stifle that works on epics, so either A, everyone who thinks the pet puts root and stun immunity on an epic is dumb or, B, someone else happened to cast something to put the effects on the target, or C, the pet is causing immunties to go up for spells they cant land, which is broken, notice only Stifle (top right) works on epics, so the only immunity pets shoudl be able to cause is stifle immunity.

Here's what I got screwin around in Cauldron Hallow. I admit I didn't play long, but the fights were over a minute long and these are the only effects I saw pop up.

Here's a screen of the hits dealt during the fight. I would post the parse itself, but i joined in at the end when my pet was almost dead, so its not entirely accurate, then i zoned out (ok i died... shut up) before thinking to do one of just my pet till it died. Lockout ftl.

Yah, the pet's root has always been broken on epics. Ever since T6, when it was unbreakable from the pet, you could hopefully have it chain-root and you could destroy epics with it.

Here's my pet vs coldtooth. Unbuffed, just my pet and coldtooth toe to toe. Just to show that its using all its abilities. Only immunities, again, that i saw pop up was root and stifle.

A) You're robbing content from noobs by killing coldtooth.

B) Wayn why are you in channel 1-9

Yep I posted in the official forums as well, obviously hasn't been an issue since we rarely used our pets on raids anyways.

Its not an issue, unless you root epics regularly or actually depend on the stifle (which really does nothing afaik). The stuns and dazes do not trigger any immunities and are far more useful against epics than stifle, imo.
