Ok - Maybe Cal can do the math on all this cuz my brain is fried from trying:

I'm sitting at 100crit in raid/530 BOE (630 if the SK shows up).
I have 10% base dmg mod from the Troub Mythical
I have 10% base dmg mod proc from Dark Orb

My understanding is that Base Dmg/Crit/Volatile Magic is figured before BOE is taken into acct

Question #1 is - Where would a realistic cap on BOE be? I'm thinking around 750...but that's just a pure guess?

Question #2 is - Necklace of Pain or the Pendant of Swirling Energy?
Reason I ask this one is because I got the mythical illy weapon and it's power proc + NoP power proc is giving me too much lol.

Right now I'm sitting at just abouve 700 BoE right now, and while over 30% power the only skill not capped on BoE is Chromatic Shower. (Brainclot was the last other skill to reach cap) However when under 30% or if i was under the affects of +base dmg or crits, the BoE cap is of course going to increase.

While under 30% power I calculated that I'd have to add just under 200 more BoE to cap brainclot (even more for crits &/or +base). Thats also with BC @ ad3 mind you. So in reality it just depends on your gear pickings, BoE of couse becomes much less desireable after UV beam caps out, which is rather early compared to our other choices spells. However it won't completely become useless until likely well over +1k, it's just extremely impractical to give up +crit & so forth to reach for those levels.
