Illusionists Reflect Ability
Recently, I've had quite a few fights with Illys, and Im getting pretty much destroyed (Considering im 76 and they are all 80).
When I'm not CC'd to much to cast, every single spell I cast gets reflected. Baring in mind I'm only getting of 2-3 spells before I'm dead, what ability do Illys get to reflect spell? Is it something I can debuff, or is it a debuff on me?

Re: Illusionists Reflect Ability
Not 100% but it should be mental effect which only coercer can dispell if hes specced for it in his AAs afaik.
Not seen any other illu but me using this on tank or self on PvE but maintain spellshield on him and it triggers quite often. (remember one pull on Wuoshi where i had spellshield on mself and reflected some dot back to him

You can't dispel it, dispel gets reflected.

there you go thinking you know how shit works in pvp again, it can be dispelled but it's usually one of the last buffs to be dispelled from a fully buffed illy, i tested with necro dispel (aas makes it dispel magic, mental, divine). never tested it with pumice stone.

Re: Illusionists Reflect Ability
it only has 3 triggers and a 1 minute recast so try to start with weaker spells

You can dispell it, but usually if something gets dispelled it would be the pet for an illy, pumice stone take spellshield off often. As a tip though if an illy mezzes you and starts casting his pre-buffs, spam your mezz on him, since you can mezz while mezzed it'll shell off a few of his charges and not effect you since ur already mezzed, targeting yourself and hitting your emergency AoE fear works as well, it doesn't get reflected and you get some amount of time to try to peel off spellshield charges again.

What exactly class do you play?
In a "duel" meaning the illusy has enough time to prepare, its pretty much impossible for a caster/healer to beat an illusionist that knows what they are doing. Between stifles, stuns, mezes, reflects, and massive dps its hard to kill them. PS Brawlers and SK's are a freaking pain for me to kill because of immunities, scouts and mages are cake walk.
