HOUSTON (SOE) WE HAVE A PROBLEM

This is mainly for high end raiding illy's, but could apply to others as well.

Currently for those of us with our mythical Mirage Star weapon it is simply enough power proccing that we need not wear any additional power proc gear to maintain the Volatile Magic requirement of under 30% power.

With the abundance of healers going for the group power proccing collection belt - I think it's called "girdle of the di'zok" as well as a new piece of avatar gear - the "upgrade or downgrade" to the Unkempt Earring - now proccing GROUP power...

It's going to be very difficult to be maintaining our power pool UNDER 30%.

I know for my group setup which includes 3 sorcerors - i'm sure each one would like the new version of the Unkempt Earring - considering I'm wearing my mythical...

HOW IN THE FUCK DOES SONY EXPECT US TO KEEP TO OUR VOLATILE MAGIC POWER REQUIREMENT WITHOUT LITERALLY SPRINTING EVERY F'ING SECOND.

I realize i'm bitching here, but at the same time it's going to eventually get unrealistic to dps to my fullest and worry about my power going over 30% with the new GROUP POWER PROCs entering the game in this expansion.

Calaglin, Broccoli - you guys post alot - what do u guys think?

many times I've wished i could put AAs in sprint to reduce the recast :P

afaik no one I'm regularly in the same group with has that belt (equipped at least) and I've found it a huge problem at times.

Usually only healers wear that belt, no one in our dps groups has it on.

I think if any mage in your group has it on, they're retarded for not using the BCG. If your healer has it on, make him or her take it off. If they can't manage power with our broke ass epic they're a piece.

As for the new unkept power earring, that thing screams healer item :\ I mean it's not bad, but eh. Just keep sprint on while you're fighting, if you get even a little high just sidestep a tiny bit and you're gtg.

what about cancelling grp power regens on yourself guys? would it help?

The proc isn't really reliable enough for that, especially on avatar fights where constant casting is a luxury all the stuns and stifles rarely let you have for very long.

So you go through phases of strugling around 0%-5% power. a few AEs on some adds later and your nearing 70% and sprint just doesn't refresh fast enough.

I would say it's time for a change of our chanter Int End-Ability. Make it a selfbuff which can be turned on and off so your mana get locked at 30% when buff is on (and at 100% when it's off). I think this is a fair way cause not only illy's got the problem to stay under 30% mana with they're mythical.
