coercers are the same way. when they refuse to drop their int/agi buff for another DPS buff i want to just stab a pen into my monitor. GTFO!!!

I'm not sure HOW, but there are still illusionists out there that think their int buff stacks with the necro and wiz int buffs. That may be the cause of *some* of the retardation you see. If I ask a chanter to drop theirs and they refuse, even with a wiz or necro in the group, if I tell them it doesn't stack, they usually drop it. Some are weird about the power buff though, can't figure that out at all.

I've seen all the buff classes be oddly stubborn about their buffs... took me like 6 tries to talk a dirge into dropping his stoneskin off in CoA the other day.

Cal, you should put a sticky up that says "Yeah, we get it, most Illusionists don't know what the fuck they're doing. Accept it, move on and complain about something else."

Usually depends on on what classes are available. If I ever stick myself in a dirge / melee group with mythicals its still relatively easy to break 5k on trash (certain named too I guess), as you're only really loosing out on troub deagro and ice shape (a few other things too, but nothing major).

some scouts really like the +dps from a coercer, some like +haste from illu (Ass and Brig generally would prefer haste, the other two only want IA most of the time). not to mention IA, and with our mythical it gives 10% melee DA and 5% ranged to the group.

I still hate being in melee groups, but DPS doesn't suffer that hugely if you get a dirge and adapt to it (even without mythicals).

Illys buff melee and casters, coercers buff melee, mages prefer an illy and and they offer more to mages (sorcs specifically) then they do to scouts, however we buff scouts ( only one to the max) better the coercers as well, our haste da is nice, since its otherwise useless as haste is the easiest mod to cap by far, which is why the coercer dps buff is favered by some.
