I'm almost always in the top 5 unless I forget to sprint. Considering the long recast of some dps'er abilities, I fluctuate between #1 and #5 depending on the raid setup.

As long as no one is slacking I find myself fighting with Swashbucklers for who comes higher. Assassins, Wizards, Warlocks and Conjurers usually can beat me as long as they're trying or not in a crappy group.

After GU43 I have been finding it more difficult to break 5k in VP, although we had really bad lag all night that pretty much through spell order out the window at times, so I'll not start crying just yet. Hit rate seemed pretty much unchanged (1-2% less). It's only been one day, so I'd have to give it more time.

I can safely still hit 6.3k or so in VP provided that the lag goes the right way, without lag and provided we hit Sentiment/Illuminate as often as possible, I see no reason why our DPS will chagne.

I'm guessing raid dps goes up a lot with a full raid of mythical epics, because I very rarely make a 5k parse.

I was getting spikes to 6k before with 5k being my average without Mythicals.

What's approx. raid dps on a parse like that?

I'd be curious about this as well, I can parse between 3k-4k and sometimes a little bit more in a raid that parses 35-40k max dps. I dont have any mythical and obviously dont use the epic.

What does this equate to if the raid dps was 60-70k or even more? Would it be less, more the same etc.

I've always wondered about the people in the real highend guilds with their parses and how they would compare in a far more casual guilds.

I've always been of the opinion that someone doing very numbers in a casual guild would do awesome numbers in a highend guild surrounded by players of similar quality.

If your putting out 10% of the raids dps Id say you are parsing very well.

For maximising your dps is it better to let dots end of or cast them as soon as they are up ?

spamming works best cause only the initial tick will proc something and uses the +spelldamage amount
