Other than for solo/heroic content, raid mobs will still one shot you. As mages don't have parry to start with the parry adorn would also be a waste.

Hey now, I can tank raid mobs come next GU with all the stoneskin. Taking 1-hit being pre-stacked with wards is fairly easy. Not being pre-stacked with wards and it becomes hard.

Sure, but I'm rarely pre-stacked, and i'm more likely to pull agro in the first 10sthan later in a fight. It's more often than not time to rebuff if that happens :P
